ABOUT

The Malahide Young Musician of the Year is a music competition that has been running since 1981. Open to all young people who live, go to school in, or attend music lessons in the Malahide, Portmarnock and Kinsealy areas.

Prizes are awarded in all categories with the coveted title of Malahide Young Musician of the Year awarded following a play-off involving the winners of all individual categories. There are also prizes awarded for group performances.
